Baxter Bio Pharmaceutical Rain Forest Potlatch Event May 5/06
A four month planning process took place for this very unique event between the Marketing Department from Baxter Bio Pharmaceuticals, Corporate Special Event Network, Design Network, Bob Baker elder from the Squamish Nation, Native Artist Richard Krentz and the Catering Department from the Pan Pacific Hotel. This included a pre – event site visitations and menu tasting with Baxter Marketing Team

Although the Corporate Special Event Network had previously with the Eagles Song Dancers from the Squamish Nation on several occasions, this event required extensive research in regards to conducting a truly authentic traditional Potlatch Feast theme event. This included research on the customs,
 
 

traditions, and protocols of the Squamish Nation, as well as gathering information of the history and meanings of Salish totems and salmon and bentwood boxes and lastly the very unique and entertaining Salish Talking Stick Presentation Ceremony.

The Corporate Special Event Network was responsible for the planning and execution of all phases of the Rain Forest Potlatch Feast event including proposal and budget development, prevent marketing and customized salmon box event invitations, sourcing and coordination of suppliers for the event, liaison with catering, department from the Pan Pacific Hotel coordination of all event entertainment and specialty staging accessories, plus all digital video and photography event services.
